Actress, Model. She experienced a taste of stardom as a child, when she was a spokesperson for a local sausage company in her native Detroit. After moving with her family to Southern California, she gained attention as winner of several beauty contests and earned the distinction of being named "Miss Clairol." The latter resulted in her appearance in several publications. This led to her discovery by Hollywood and her professional debut in a 1959 episode of the TV series "Bachelor Father." She would find her niche in Westerns, as she had credits in such programs as "Bonanza" and "Gunslinger," as well as other series. She will probably be remembered for playing 'Princess Laura' in the Bert I Gordon film "The Magic Sword" (1962). The picture later found a cult following when it was made into an episode from the popular series "Mystery Science Theater 3000" in 1992. She followed this with the film "Runaway Girl" (1965). She was formerly married to singer Glenn Yarborough. She died from cancer.
