Mr. Roger David Coleman, age 69 of Frisco City, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Monroe County Hospital. Mr. Coleman was born in Conecuh County, Alabama and had been a resident of Monroe County for most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Goodway. Mr. Coleman was a farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, John David Coleman and Laura Lou Lambert Coleman and one brother, Johnny Coleman.

Survivors include his wife Freda Ann Coleman of Frisco City; his son Steven Combs and wife Dessire of Goodway; two daughthers, Regina Combs of Louisiana and Kimberly Stone of Goodway; one brother, Dennis Coleman and wife Sheila of Goodway; two sisters, Mavis McCurdy and husband Wayne of Atmore and Tammy Smith and husband Jeff of Goodway; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 2, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Hayles officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery in Goodway. Visitation will be Monday, January 2nd from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
