Mr. Billy Ray 'Uncle Bill' Boshell -- a native of Jasper, AL and a resident of Irvington, AL, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at a local hospital.

Mr. Boshell was a memeber of Pine Springs Baptist Church in Irvington, AL. He was a long time employee of PoBoy Tire Co. in Theodore and the Mobile International Speedway. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean war. He was imprisoned for more than 18 months as a P.O.W.

He is survived by one son, Lloyd W. Boshell of Nauvoo, AL; three daughters, Darlene B. Gunter of Jasper, AL, Laura B. Vales of Mobile and Leanne M. Boshell of Mobile; two sisters, Bobbie Palermiti of Cape Coral, FL, Margarey Lowery of Tuscaloosa, AL; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services wil be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment with full Military Honors will take place in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Mobile, AL.
