Prior to the fall of South Vietnam has family had made it out safely to Guam where he joined them.

Joseph and his loving wife Theresa Nam Vien relocated to West Texas to raise their three children Anh-Tu, Theresa, and Rosemary. He worked for Texas Instruments for 20 years and was entirely committed to his family.

Our dad enjoyed spending time in the garden, volunteering at church, but most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and five grandchildren – Catherine, Jonathan, Benjamin, Julian, and Oliver. Our beloved dad will be fondly remembered for his loving spirit, his energetic and charismatic presence, and his passionate zeal for life.
