SLIGO - Mrs. Grace Irene Minnick, 71, of Curllsville, widow of John Arthur Minnick, died at 3 p.m. Friday while cleaning in the United Church of Christ at Curllsville. Death was due to a heart attack.
Born May 29, 1900, in Porter Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of Emma Womeldorf Anthony.
She was married December 25, 1918 to John Arthur Minnick. He died January 4, 1968.
Mrs. Minnick was a member of the Untied Church of Christ at Curllsville and the Ladies Guild of the church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilmer (Helen) Blauser of Franklin RD2 and Mrs. Leo (Louise) Gathers of Sligo, and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Howard, and one brother, Darrel, are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo, with Rev. Paul Miller, pastor of the United Church of Christ in Curllsville officiating. Interment will be in the Churchville Cemetery.
