Joel Daniel Amyett went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016. just 2 months shy of his 91st birthday. Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Legacy Church of Christ, North Richland Hills. Joel was loved and respected by everyone he met. As a devout Christian, he led by example and followed the teachings of Christ every day of his life. He was preceded in death by his wives, Alyne Jo Klepper in 1979 and Alma Macintosh in 2001; and his daughter, Marsha Jo Fry, in 2009. Survivors: Daughter, Debbie Amyett Sandoval; granddaughter, Victoria Sandoval; grandsons, Shane Sandoval, Aaron Fry, Brandon Fry; his sons-in-law, Sal Sandoval and Michael Fry; sisters, Dorothy Bailey, Naomi Kizer and Edna Waldrop; two brothers, Excell Amyett and Elza David Amyett; numerous nieces and newphews; and dear friend, Betty Lemmons.
