Tyler Allen Baker McDaniel, age 12, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Riley Children’s Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. Tyler was born on February 3, 2004 in South Bend, Indiana to Jessica (Baker) McDaniel and John McDaniel of Elkhart. Along with his loving parents, Tyler is survived by his sisters, Adrian VanDusen and Hannah McDaniel and three brothers, Donavan McDaniel, Caleb McDaniel and Noah McDaniel all at home. Tyler is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Bart and Kathy Williams of South Bend, and Bobby Baker of Mishawaka; maternal great-grandmother, Peggy Korlowicz of South Bend; Aunt Clara Williams of South Bend; and the Kendall and Binns families. Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rex McDaniel and Martha McDaniel.
Tyler was a student at Jimtown Intermediate School.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46616, where friends may visit from 3:00 pm until time of services.
