FAIRBORN — Margaret Mary (Broderick) Maxwell, age 87 of Ballston Lake, NY, passed away Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Dayspring of the Miami Valley in Fairborn, OH. She was born May 20, 1929 in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of the late George S. and Margaret A. (Sullivan) Broderick.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1947 and attended continuing education courses at Fordham University. Margaret Mary was employed with Bronzini Limited in New York City as a senior bookkeeper.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Maxwell; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Broderick. She is survived by a son, Gordon Maxwell; two brothers, Col. (Ret.) George Broderick and wife Mary (Froats) Broderick of Fairborn, OH, John J. Broderick of Thornwood, NY; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 31, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Paul Catholic Church, 308 Phillips St., Yellow Springs, Father John Krumm Celebrant.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at the church. Burial will follow at the St. Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
