EARLY, Buford Palmer, 90, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, was a retired Purchasing Agent for various coal companies in West Virginia and worked for the West Virginia Employment Commission. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie H. Early; one son and daughter-in-law, Mildred Early and Charles W. Mitchell Jr., Roanoke; three sons and two daughters-in-law, B.P. Early Jr. and wife, Glena, Bluefield, W.Va., Bennett E. Early, Roanoke, Donald H. Early and wife, Lavern, Atlanta, Ga.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan, 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 1993, with Mr. Ronald Dunford and Rev. David A. Kirk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roanoke County #5 Rescue Squad, Hollins. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
