They are near John McLean, 38, Carpenter, born Upper Canada and Rebecca, 38 (1823), born Nova Scotia. This family has childern, Abraham, 21, William, 18, Maurice, 12, Isaac, 9, Andrew, 7 and Sarah E., 4. Where is the family of Abraham and Charlotte? Not at Yarmouth.

There is a probate record for an Augusta McLean, Aylmer, #67, 1877. Checked probate 12 March 1998. Her father, Abraham was administrator. He of Yarmouth twp., This is therefore not a McEown dau. of Abraham and Rebecca McEown. That Abraham d. in 1852.

Augusta S. McClean, is listed as an heir to Levi Nickerson. She is buried at Dunboyne Cemetery, having died, 26 March 1875, age 26 years 5 months and 20 days (born, 6 Oct. 1848). She is given in transcription as dau. of Abraham and Rebecca McClean. She is a daughter of Abraham McLEAN by his first wife, Rebecca Nickerson, dau. of Levi., Instr. #5836, is a Quit Claim Deed giving her $100 as her share of her grandfather's (Levi Nickerson) estate.
