Mr. Lewis J. Newsom, of near Oakvale, a former resident of this county, from this world of trials and tribulations inst, Tuesday evening at 5 0'clock, aged 54 years and 13 days. He had been in bad health many years but was not confined to his room until six weeks ago, during which time he bore his afficition with patience fortitude and forbearance. He realized that he was soon to go before his maker and calling his loved ones to his bedside, he entreated to live as Christians and meet him in paradise. We extend sympathy to the heart broken widow and the relatives of the deceased.
