Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2000, in the chapel of Collins-Burke Funeral Home with burial in Barney Cemetery in Cordova. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct. Visitation will be at 6 p.m., today, May 3, 2000, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ershel Cooper and brother, Boyd Cooper.
He is survived by his mother, Earline Cooper of Jasper; sons, Shannon Cooper of West Blockton and Brian Cooper of Hueytown; step-daughter, Karen Lee of Jasper; sister, Judy Cooper Troup of Jasper; brothers, Tim and John Cooper both of Jasper; four grandchildren, Corey Amerson, Alex Cooper, Ashley Cooper and Austin Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
