Helen L. Snow, 84, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in Memorial Hospital.

She was born on October 22, 1932 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late John and Mamie (Lunger) Young. On July 21, 1950 Helen married Standly Parks Snow who survives.

Helen is also survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn (Tom) Robinson of South Bend, Indiana; two grandchildren Kristi (Kirk) Stewart of Brighton, Michigan and Thomas "Tom" (Holly) Robinson of Indianapolis, Indiana; two great-grandchildren Alexander David Kirk Stewart III and Zachary Sebastian Snow Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her son Larry Wayne Snow; two sisters Josephine Young and Thelma Tomlinson; and three brothers Joseph, Raymond, and Donald Young.

A visitation for Helen will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home 3545 N. Bendix Drive from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Helen was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #308 Womens's Auxilary. She enjoyed playing euchre, gardening, traveling to casinos, and bowling. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
