CALVIN "JUNE WOODS" WOODS, JR., 82, of Memphis, retired from John Morrell Packing Company, died June 9, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Mr. Woods was a World War II Army veteran, owner of Woods & Sons Floor Service and Woods BBQ Inn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 16 at J.O. Patterson Mortuary. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at Macedonia Baptist Church-Hyde Park. Burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene Road. He leaves his wife, Mary E. Woods; three children, Sabrina Renee Woods and Kenneth D. Woods, both of Memphis, and Eric E. Parrish of Richmond, CA; two sisters, Iris Naomi Huffman of Dayton, OH, and Juanita Woods Allen of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren, Shakina E. Jackson of Memphis and Ocaris L. Parish of Phoenix, AZ; and two great-grandchildren, Shaniciya Renee Jones of Memphis and Kendall Hunt of Phoenix, AZ. J. O.
