Linda Michelle (Simpson) Orr, age 72, of the Milwaukee, WI area formerly of Sullivan, IN and Casey, IL passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. She was born April 2, 1944 in Paris, IL, the daughter of Charles Wesley Simpson and Flora E. Chickadonz Simpson. She married David L. Orr; he passed away on April 23, 2015.
Survivors include her children, Vincent E. Gard (Patrick Gentry) of Milwaukee, WI; Len A. (Julie) Gard of Casey, IL and Stacey E. Gard of Noblesville, IN; grandchildren, Darby Shonk, Acantha Gard and Jordan Craft; great grandchildren, Madison, Mason and Carmen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Charlie and Don Simpson and sister, Arlene Seaton.
Linda worked as a CNA for nursing homes and in-home care. She attended Casey Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Linda enjoyed crocheting and shopping.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Cemetery, rural Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 am on Saturday morning at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
