Lucille Margaret Knoch Bell passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Lexington Kentucky at the age of 86. She was born on February 25, 1930 in Gutman, Ohio to the late Carrie and Clay Knoch.

Lucille is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Joseph; daughters Sharon Bell (William Zeilinger) of Big Rapids, Michigan, and Debra Bullock of Lexington, Kentucky; her son Timothy Bell (Tally) of Wichita, Kansas. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren (Jason, Joseph "Tommy", Charles, Erin), and 3 great grandchildren (Sophia, Gianna, Anthony). She is survived by one sister (Georgia Lee) and five brothers (Tom, Rex, Ted, Dick, Clay) and preceded in death by 4 brothers (Morris, Brooks, Bill, Alwayne), one sister(Glenna) and one grandson(David).

Lucille and her family resided in Miamisburg and Centerville, Ohio from 1953 until 1988. Lucille graduated from Patterson Coop High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1962. She was an insurance adjustor for Buckeye, Erie and Aetna Insurance Companies in Dayton, Ohio until her retirement in 1989. Joseph and Lucille retired to Lucille's ancestral home near Gutman, Ohio, later moving to Wapakoneta, Ohio and then Lexington, Kentucky. During their retirement they were both active in volunteer work through the NOMADS of the Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and sewing, having made thousands of dresses for "Little Dresses for Africa."

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Rev. David Gordon will officiate and burial will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Clay Township. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services, Saturday at the funeral home.
