Jeff was born March 5, 1972 to Ivan and Gloria (Hooverson) Olson; he was baptized and confirmed at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Jeff attended grades K-12 in Westby, and graduated top of his class. He earned his bachelor degree in Mass Communications at U.W.-LaCrosse where he made the Dean’s List. He worked at WLSU and Target while attending school. After graduating, he immediately started working for LaCrosse Radio Group. He also was a news reporter at Cow 97, Sparta.
