It is regret we announce the passing of Lisa Lynn Jennings, age 53, of Denham Springs, LA. Ms. Jennings was the daughter of James (the late Marilyn) Jennings and the late Janice Daniels (the late Phillip) Hopkins. She was a graduate of Lincoln County High School, worked for Deep South Equipment in Baton Rouge, LA, and attended Park City Baptist Church. Ms. Jennings passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.


Survivors include her son Ducote James Jennings; sisters Jawan (Jason) Ross both of Denham Springs, LA, and Christy Jennings (Charlie) Davis of Fayetteville, TN; nephew Noah Ducote; and a niece Ivy Ann Davis. In addition to her mother, step-father and step-mother, she was preceded in death by a sister Diane Jennings.


A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Denham Springs, LA. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Lisa Lynn Jennings.


Local memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 7 p.m. with Bro. Greg Wiser officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 30, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
