For most of her life, Virginia dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker. After her family was reared, she became the serials librarian at the Texas Collection of Baylor University where she worked until her retirement. Throughout her life, she served many churches as a Sunday school teacher, most recently at First Baptist Church, New Braunfels. Over the past five years, she loved and was dedicated to her church, Wyldwood Baptist Church of Cedar Creek.
Virginia loved many things in her life, including her Lord, her family and her Baylor Bears. She loved gardening and spend many hours digging in the dirt. She truly lived by her favorite scripture, "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." – Joshua 24:15
Virginia is survived by her son, Robert S. Ming and wife Cindi of Waco, TX; daughter, Virginia (Ginni) L. Smith of Bastrop, TX; grandsons, Robert L. Ming and wife Becky, Christopher W.
