When Ralph Darvin Lee was born on November 30, 1923, in Burlington, Iowa, his father, Cecil Lee, was 27 and his mother, Florence Cibby aka Kibby (Kinder) Lee, was 24. He has 10 children with Lupe Appolline Ann "Polly" Marantos and one child with Mabel Loretta Davis. He has three brothers, ST, Leon and Jack Lee and four sisters, Mildred Lee, Hazel Lee, Darlene (Lee) Ford and Doris Lee. He passed away very peacefully at the Veterans Center in Clinton, Ok on December 28, 2016. He leaves behind his beloved dog Pepper, 6 sons, Ruben Lee, Robert Lee, Russell Lee, Randy Lee, Terry Posey and R.D. Lee and leaves behind 5 daughters, Linda (Lee) Brookshier, Carol (lee) Russ, Nancy Lee, Mary (Lee) McCulley and Pam (Posey)Flowers and one brother Jack Lee and 2 sisters Darlene (Lee) Ford and Doris Lee. Many grandchildren, & many many great grandchildren.

Ralph spent a lot of his childhood in Eakly, OK where his parents came to Oklahoma in the Land Lottery of Oklahoma in 1901. Ralph was working the shipyards in Washington when he was drafted and served in the Marines in World War II. Had many farm jobs and worked as a mechanic and a bus driver at the Arapaho Schools, he also worked at the Clinton Cotton Oil Mill. He worked in his Aunts Nursing home in San Francisco, CA. Just many jobs, very talented. He also invented a milking machine for his own use. He also invented a spring loaded fishing pole before they were invented.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mildred, Hazel, ST and Leon. Also his 2nd wife preceded him in death, Loretta (Davis) Patterson.

Update: Pepper his beloved doggie got to meet his daddy once again in Heaven on 27 Apr 2023. I know they are enjoying each other again.

Burial will be in the Eakly Cemetery at Eakly, OK right next to his mother Kibby (Kinder) Lee.
