Bonnie J. Coon, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
A visitation will be on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 10-11am at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. Services will follow at 11am on Friday at Papes, with Patti Wise officiating. After services, she will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Bonnie was born June 5, 1929 in Danville to William and Elizabeth (Smith) Buck. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, coloring and drawing, crocheting, feeding the squirrels, visiting the Amish farms, getting her morning coffee at Hardees with her friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie married Raymond Coon Sr. on April 28, 1951, Raymond passed in 1998. Survivors include her children: Carolyn Smith, Cloyd (Carol) Coon, Roger (Brenda) Coon, Roy (Angela) Coon, Lori Townsend; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and all of her brothers and sisters.
