NORTHPORT – Sarah Ann Howell, age 85, died December 24, 2016 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Howell; her parents, Mark Tucker and Mertis Tucker; and by her sisters, Dora Tucker and Jeanette Tucker.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Hulsey (Reggie) of Coker; her son, Mike Howell (Mary) of Tuscaloosa; her brother, Bill Tucker and her sister, Doris Simmons, both of Northport, Ala.; grandchildren, Becky Townsend (Scotty) of Coker, Ala. Greg Hulsey of Coker, Ala., Danny Howell (Jennifer) and Melanie Carter (Matt) of Greensboro; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Greg Garner, Greg Hulsey, Daniel Howell, Michael Howell, Matthew Howell, Justin Townsend, Hunter Townsend and Blake Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers are Mark and Julie Justice, David Baumhower, Carol Brown, Dale and Donna Jennings, nurses on ICU unit, Dr. Hemstreet, Dr. Fulghum, Dr. Azam and Joan Brewer.
