Janice Kay Weston, 72, of Parkersburg, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born November 21, 1944 in Lawrenceville, IL to Mary Lou Seitz (Find a Grave # 94725430).
In 1946 Janice was adopted by Hershel (John) & Dorotha Fiscus.

She married Billy Joe Weston, Sr in Champaign, IL on April 25, 1975.

Janice was employed by the Olney Police Department for 19 years. She loved her job and all the people she worked with. While employed there she worked under 3 different Police Chiefs and was up for the challenge. All of the officers were like sons to her and she felt very close to them and their families.
Janice had survived cancer twice with the loving support of her family & friends.

Janice is survived by her son, Patrick and Kim Karns of Eldorado, IL; stepsons, Billy Joe and Karen Weston, Jr. of Noble, IL, James R. Wilson of Claremont, IL.; grandchildren, Tommy Schlett, Kristi Schlett, Kaeli Bell, Levi, Tiffany, Dusty Weston, Mason Mireles, Chris, Jesse, Harley Covey; great-grandchildren, Brenden Mattingly, Lillianne Bell, Eleanor Bell, Travette Tarpley, Xzandrea Burgund, Kaylee, Kenzy, Randall, Landon, Tristan Covey, Jaxon Schlett; sisters, Blanche and Jerry Piper of Sumner, IL, Paula Blevins of Lawrenceville, IL, Betty and Jim Stanton of Hopkinsville, KY, Billie and Smokey Miller of Olney, IL, Becky and Lee Paque of Punta Gorda, Florida; brothers, Mark Barker of Indiana, Jeff Barker of Oblong, IL and many loved nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy J. Weston, Sr; infant son, Jeffrey and brother, Kevin Barker.

In keeping with Janice’ wishes Cremation Rites will be accorded with no visitation. Private family graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. There will be a Celebration of Janice’s Life at the Olney VFW in the spring.
