Cynthia R Marciniak, 52 of Paola, KS, passed away Wednesday December 21st, 2016 at KU Medical Center. Cindy was born in Scotts Bluff, NE November 12th, 1964 To Linda and Robert (Bob) Hess. She was a 1983 graduate of Ankeny (IA) High School. Cindy married Philip Marciniak on October 15th, 1988. She is survived by her husband, son Glen, daughter Jacqueline, parents, sister Virginia Hess, brothers Don and Bobby (Kari) Hess, and many more extended family. She is greatly missed by her constant shadows, Sampson and Eli.
An avid outdoorswoman, Cindy loved camping, fishing, and working on her water garden. As a Girl Scout leader, she touched the lives of many young women. Her sense of humor was unmatched, her laugh infectious, and her friendship cherished. She was an incredible mother not only to her own children, but to everyone they brought home as well.
Private family services, with a celebration of life scheduled at a later date. If you would like to memorialize Cindy, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
