Preceded in death by his loving wife Charlotte (Merritt), brothers Harold Watson and Robert Watson, sisters-in-law Betty Watson, Gail Watson, Inez Dancy, Vivian Vaught, brothers-in-law James Dancy, James Vaught. Survived by his loving wife Martha (Rivers) Watson, daughters Carla McKelvey (Tim), Jana Watson Pendery, step-daughter Debbie McCauley (Brent), grandchildren Katie and Michael Cirulli, Megan, Daniel, and Jack McKelvey, Kelly Pendery, step-grandchildren Nikki Artin (Luke), Christopher and Alex McCauley, brother Bill Watson (Joyce), brother-in-law Gay Merritt (Duetta), nephews Charles Watson and Rick Merritt (Lisa), Jim (Carol) Dancy, Bill (Peggy) Dancy, nieces Scarlett Rowland (John), Ronda Lussier (Fred), and Kimberly Ebb (Ron), along with many great nieces and nephews. Ralph had a lengthy career at General Motors for over 40 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean war from 1950 to 1952. After his retirement, Ralph was a member of the American Legion Post 707 and held the position of Finance Officer. He also enjoyed his time working at Jamaica Run Golf Course.
The family will receive friends St. Christopher's Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia, Ohio, Rev. Fr. John Tonkin will be the celebrant. A graveside service at Eubank Cemetery in Eubank, KY.
