Jennifer Ann Burke, 35, of San Antonio, passed away December 26th, 2016. She was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on November 18, 1981. Jennifer graduated from Taft High School in San Antonio, Texas in 2000. Jennifer also attended UTSA after high school, majoring in Elementary Education. Jennifer had a lifelong passion for teaching and enjoyed children. As a student in college she had the opportunity to substitute teach and work for child care centers in her free time. In high school Jennifer was a member of the ROTC program and the Taft Pep Squad. Jennifer had many hobbies to include reading, making jewelry, and painting. She was survived by her mother Phyllis Matias Burke and her husband Eddie Matias; her father Max Burke and his wife Cindy Burke; and her brother Alexander Burke. In San Antonio, Texas, viewing and visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jennifer's funeral and burial will be held In Stigler, Oklahoma. Viewing and visitation will be held on December 30th, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mallory Funeral Home, 204 NE "F" St, Stigler, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held December 30th, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Stigler Assembly of God Church, 303 SE "B" St, Stigler, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Brooken Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma.
