Jane E. Watts, 90, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at ManorCare.

She was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Jersey Shore, the daughter of Melvin Roscoe Gohl and Alice Magnolia Fessler.

Jane was the wife of the late Cleon D. "Jake" Watts who passed in 2005.

Earlier in her life she was a homemaker and later was a licensed practical nurse for the Jersey Shore Hospital and in the private duty field.

Jane attended Maranatha Bible Church and the Community Baptist Church in Montoursville. She was very active in children's ministry and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Cleon D. (Lynnette) Watts Jr. and Stephen (Mary) Watts, both of Jersey Shore; two grandsons; three granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jane was predeceased by a daughter, Susan in 1969.

Jane's Life Celebration services will be held for family and close friends at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, with Pastor Greg Sander officiating.
