A public visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 20901 Mt. Zion Rd., Freeland, MD 21053. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Schulze will officiate.
Jackie was born September 23, 1938 in Virginia to the late Lawrence A. and Printie B. (Quesenberry) Lyons. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, working in the yard, and especially loved being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Neal and wife, Lory and Scott Neal and wife, Cammie; daughter, the late Glenda S. Peacock and her husband, Brian; six grandchildren, Wyatt, Amanda, Dalton, Clayton, Dylan and Keira; and four siblings, Vada Depalmer, Virginia Harrell, Sandra Shields and Kenny Lyons. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and three siblings, Lloyd Lyons, Ann Yarger and Verna Watson.
