Dolores was born on the family farm on August 17, 1928, in Princeton, to Frank and Mary Jackowski. She married Bernard "Ben" Dalka on June 28, 1958, at St. John's Catholic Church. She worked for the Handcraft Company in Princeton for many years until her retirement.
Yahtzee bowled for many years in the Princeton/Green Lake area.She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Princeton. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan. She loved listening to Polka music.
She is survived by her sister, Lucille Sheski; three daughters, Deb (Lynn) Helmer, Donna Sanchez (special friend, Garry) and Diana (Tony) Owens; her loving grandchildren, Matt, Jessica, Shaun and Sabrina; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Canaan and one-on the way; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben; her parents and brother Donald (Jean) Jackowski and brother-in-law, Harry Sheski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., in Princeton with the Father Dale Grubba officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home,303 W. Harvard St., in Princeton and on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the church.
