Betty Lou Aiken Dunn, 86, of Durham, died Sunday, December 18, 2016. Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Hasten and Bessie Aiken and wife of the late George W. Dunn. Mrs. Dunn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Dunn.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by her daughter, Shirley Dowell, of Rougemont; two brothers, Edison Aiken, of Rougemont and Bob Aiken, of Butner; four grandchildren, Chadd Dowell, Jeffery Dowell, Chris Dunn and Michelle Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Whaley and Taylor Dunn; two special friends, Brandon and Cole Whaley; and her second family, the residents of Eno Pointe where she had been a resident since 2009.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. John Pritchard. Burial will follow in the Aiken Blalock Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Thursday at the Brooks & White Chapel prior to the service.
