He proudly served his country in the US Navy on the Air Craft Carrier USS Randolph. He was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 3 Department of Tennessee, a 32nd degree member of the Free Masons, and a member of the Jericho Shrine Temple. He was employed by Nabisco for 55 years. Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Hezzie May Hall; infant twin brothers; and great granddaughter Jada Lilly Pickering.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Eunice Hall; son Bobby N. Hall; daughter Kelly Hall; grandson Jonathan Pickering and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren Kaylee and Bella Pickering; daughter in-law Kathy Wilson; and honorary daughter Judi Carter and Sevier Terrace neighbors.
A receiving of friends will be held at Carter Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, December 29th, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park at 1 pm on Friday December 30th, 2016 with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Fidelis Sunday school class of First Broad Street United Methodist Church.
