"Rebecca L. 'Becky' Berry Age 92, passed away Monday August 3, 2009 after a lengthy illness at Altercare of Navarre. Born January 11, 1917, Becky was the daughter of the late Lila and James Hamlin. She and her husband, Edward H. Berry celebrated 48 years of marriage before his death in 1986. 'Becky' is survived by four daughters... 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Hamlin and Harry (Dorcas) Hamlin; and two sisters, Betty Holding and Ruth (Art) Schumacher. A brother, William Hampton and sisters, Jane Barnhouse and Dorothy Buck predeceased her.

She retired in November 1984 from the former Superior's Brand Meats, now known as Fresh Mark, where she worked in the traffic department handling route collections and dispatching for the truck drivers. She was an avid bowler in the area for many years and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and baking. She was known by many for her wonderful cooking skills. She is a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Hospice, who gave her very loving care during her last two weeks of life. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Atkinson Feucht Hare, Massillon Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour before the services from 12-1 p.m."
