On Thursday, August 10, 2006; age 79; of North Versailles Twp., formerly of Rankin. Judy graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She had been a cancer survivor since 1965. She will be truly missed by her family and friends and all who loved her. She was born in San Angelo, Italy, on October 15, 1926; a daughter of the late Settimio and Elizabeth (Melocchi) Del Corso; beloved wife of 59 years of Albert Palmieri (Al Palmer Trio, the former Vagabonds). Loving mother of Dominic Palmieri and his wife Carol and Nicholas Palmieri and his wife Terry. Dear grandmother of Antoinette and Jacquelyn Palmieri and Daniel Palmieri and his wife Michelle. Devoted sister of Vincent Del Corso and his wife Gladys and the late Nicholas Del Corso. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, PA 15148, (412) 824-4332. on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Additional visitation on Monday morning until time of the service in the funeral home at 11:00 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
