She was a retired administrator for General Electric, a member of Highview Baptist Church and the GE Elfun club and on the alumni committee of Southern High School (class of 1959). She was a Christian wife, mother and "nana". She was also a loving friend to many and a world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Owens; parents, Paris and Mattie (Powell) Lile; and brother, Hobert Lile.
Deanna is survived by her three loving children and seven grandchildren.
Her funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday at Highview Baptist Church, 7711 Fegenbush Lane, with private burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Friday.
