Brenda Kiser Hamilton of Mount Holly, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the age of 74, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born on August 17, 1942 in Charlotte, NC and a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, Brenda was the daughter of the late Vernon C. "Ike" Kiser and the late Pauline Biddy Kiser, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert V. Kiser and James F. Kiser, all of Charlotte. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her country, was elected to two terms on the Gaston County School Board, and served her Savior faithfully as a church pianist and worship leader for several area churches.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Hamilton, her daughter Traci Brannon and husband Scott of Gastonia, her daughter Susan Hubbard and husband Lynn of Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren Emily Brannon, Cooper Hubbard, and Riley Hubbard, and sister Shirley Mullis.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am at First Assembly of God in Gastonia, NC on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
