Wanda M. Phillips, 94, of Valparaiso, passed away on December 23, 2016. She was born on October 16, 1922, in Rutland, Vermont, to Wallace and Lora Hagberg. On June 20, 1942, she married Harold T. Phillips, who preceded her in 1996. Wanda worked at Indiana General, Montgomery Wards, and C.A.T. Trucking before she retired. In her spare time she enjoyed square dancing and working on her quilts. She is survived by her sons Harold (Georgia) Phillips Jr. of Michigan, and Robert (Lynn) Phillips of Portage, grandchildren Kyle (Dawn) Phillips, Todd (Melissa) Phillips, Matthew Phillips, and Ryan Phillips. She is also survived by great grand-children Jordan Phillips, Conner Phillips, Michael Phillips, and Madison Phillips. She is preceded in death by her parents Wallace Hagberg, Lora and Roy Freese, and sisters Margaret Morehouse and Clara D. Betts.
