Stanley Wayne Barnett, age 80, of Grandview, WA went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from Richland, WA. Stan was born on July 28, 1936 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma the son of Allie Mae (Moody) and Noah Barnett. He received his education in Sunnyside, WA and graduated with the Class of 1956. Stan served four years in the United States Army. Following his military service he met and married Freda Rogers in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Freda passed away on October 19, 1979. Stan later married Vicky Eveland on June 25, 1983 in Yakima, WA. He worked construction twelve years at the Hanford Project. Stan also owned and operated Barnett Cleaning Service for fifteen years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pinochle, going to the casino and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Stan was a very generous man; he never met a stranger and would talk your arm and leg off. He was a member of the Anchor Point Church in Grandview, WA.

Stan is survived by his wife, Vicky Barnett of Grandview, WA. Children Gary Barnett (Kathy) of Wapato, WA, Carrie Herrera (Mario) of Mabton, WA, Shannon Yanez (Jason) of Grandview, WA, Tami Rodriguez (Rick) of Sunnyside, WA, Rob Weger (Brandee) of Connell, WA and Michelle Ausere of Richland, WA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Stan is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Freda Barnett, granddaughter Willa Rose Wegner, brother Deward, two sisters Billie and Doris.

Service Dates and Times: Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Grandview, WA. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Anchor Point Church in Grandview, WA with Military Honors. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview,WA.
