Ervin Efinger, age 89, of Muscoda, died Tuesday, April 2, 1991, in the Boscobel Memorial Hospital He was born June 6, 1909, in Castle Rock Township, the son of Gus and Pauline (Felton) Efinger. He was married to Valeria Marish, Nov. 3, 1925, in St. John's Catholic Church, Muscoda. He was a Buttermaker in Richland Center, Muscoda, and Hugo, Okla. He farmed in Muscoda Township for 39 years before retiring. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and served as treasurer of the Catholic Order of Foresters for many years. He served chairman of Muscoda Township and was a past member of Pleasant Valley School Board. He enjoyed working at the Senior Citizens card parties and delivered nutritional meals to shut ins. He was a volunteer driver, taking people for medical services. Ervin is survived by his wife, Valeria of Muscoda; two daughters, Sylvia Tiller of Blue River, and Ellen (Robert) Richardson of Waukesha; four sons, Robert (Kay) of Milwaukee, Raymond of West Allis, Richard (Pat) of Viroqua, Roger (Diane) of Madison; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Tami, grandson Gregory, and a sister Mary. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am. at St John's Catholic Church in Muscoda with. Fr. August Buenzli officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Godager Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. A Holy Name rosary is at 7 p.m. and Parish Rosary at 8 p.m.
