In Remembrance Tammie Sue Thompson (Hoaglen Antone Kibler) Dec. 26, 1960 to April 19, 2008 Our lives go on without you But nothing is the same, We have to hide our heartaches When someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that love you Silent the tears that fall, Living our hearts without you Is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us Your heart was kind and true, And when we needed someone We could always count on you. The special years will not return When we were all together, But with the love within our hearts You will walk with us forever. Author Unknown Love Always, Mom, Dad, Tina, Emily. Tammie Sue Kibler, 47, of Arlington, WA, passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV, into the loving arms and bosom of Our Lord Jesus Christ. She was greatly blessed with happiness of having three children, three siblings, one grandchild, her parents and extended family and friends.
Tammie was born in Lake Charles, LA, on December 26, 1960. She is the eldest daughter of George W. and Mary J. Thompson, of Arlington, WA. She was a loving sister to, Tina Marie (John) Gomm, of Lake Stevens, WA, Emily Jo (Tim) McPherson, of Arlington, WA, and Steven W. (Kristin) Thompson, of Naperville, IL; and a caring mother to Jeremy Nino Hoaglen, of Everett, WA, Noah George (Christina) Antone, of Great Falls, MT, and Natalie Grace Antone, of Tacoma, WA. Last July 9 she became a new grandmother to Aviana Nicole Antone of Great Falls, MT.
Tammie's dad was career Navy, so she was raised up as a "Navy Brat" as she and her family experienced many moves up and down the East and West coasts of the United States, plus three years living in Honolulu, HI. She really enjoyed moving every few years and experiencing a new city and new school. She loved baseball and earned the nickname of "Slugger Sue" and was on many various baseball teams as a teenager and adult. Her middle school friends in Honolulu, HI, nicknamed her "Mempachi". When she was in high school in San Diego, CA, she worked part time as a "proofer" for the Bank of America. Later she attended Everett Community College classes and obtained her GED in 1980, and took some other courses as well. She worked at many various jobs including a telemarketer for many local charities of Washington State and Nevada, an accountant in Seattle, WA, and a roofer in Everett, WA. She was a very wonderful cook and baker and made many delicious dinners and beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends. She was also very artistic in home decorating and very creative in everything she did. She always knitted beautiful baby blankets for newborn family members.
In 1969 Tammie was baptized in Albany, Georgia by Pastor W.R. Crews. Later in years when she "fallen off track" the Lord Jesus Christ helped to pick herself up. She was 10 plus years a member of Narcotics Anonymous of Everett, WA. Tammie always knew that her family and friends were there for her and that she was loved unconditionally and supported by them during those rough times.
Tammie leaves behind many special friends, Tim McPherson, of Arlington, WA, Kristin Thompson, of Naperville, IL, John Gomm, of Lake Stevens, WA, John Case, of Las Vegas, NV, Blanche and Wayne Cantiono, of Seattle, WA, Robert Haggard, of Everett, WA and Tony Davenport, of Everett, WA; her very special Aunt Debbie Tolentino; and her special nieces and nephews, Jenee and Kenny Jensen Jr., Grace Gomm, Erik, Connor, Andrew and Mikaela Thompson; plus many cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Monroe Hoaglen, of Lincoln, NE; her paternal grandparents, Thelma and William Thompson, of Everett, WA; and her maternal grandparents, Emma and Joseph Vigo Jr., of Lake Charles, LA.
Memorial services are for family and friends to be held in her honor from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., April 26, 2008, at her parent's home (360-653-7941) in Arlington, WA. Arrangements for cremation are under the care of Desert Memorial of Las Vegas, NV. Tammie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends forever and may Our Heavenly Father throw His Loving Arms around us at this sad time in our lives! - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries
