Melissa J. Gray, 1310 Ash St., Bridgeport, IL, died Monday, January 31, 2005, in Lakeland, FL. She was 94.
Born on August 19, 1910, in Flat Rock, IL, she was the daughter of Samuel Davis and Nora Crozier Davis.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bridgeport and had formerly worked for Bridgeport Wholesale Company.
Survivors include, three daughters, Betty J. Stevenson and husband Arnold of Route 1, Bridgeport, Dorothy Jean Willis and husband Olin of Van Buren, IN and Mary Lou Pointon of Bridgeport; one brother, Robert Davis of Route 1, Lawrenceville; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 4, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cunningham Funeral Home, Bridgeport, IL.
Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Lawrenceville, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home.
