Rhonda attended Anderson University and graduated from Winthrop University in 1986. Following graduation, Rhonda worked for her father at Hudson Business Solutions until 2001 when she began working at the University of South Carolina. A member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1991, Rhonda provided leadership in the youth Sunday school for several years.
Rhonda was predeceased by her father Hubert Gene Hudson (2011) and is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Curtis Gibson; her mother, Carolyn Spires Hudson; her daughter, Kayla Gibson; and son, Harrison Gibson all of West Columbia. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sharon (Marc) Rattray of Lexington and Allison (John) Hilbish of Lexington; along with many aunts’, uncles and cousins.
Rhonda a loving wife, devoted and faithful mother and inspiring sister; was known for her infectious smile, laughter, joyful and giving spirit. She was a dear friend to all who knew her.
Memorial services will be at Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce, SC on Wednesday, 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolina's or Trinity Baptist Church memorial fund.
