Donald Roy Rush, 76, passed away on Dec. 16, 2016, in San Tan Valley, Ariz. He was born on March 17, 1940, in Merrill, Ore., to Felix Rush and Evelyn Henagin Rush of Tulelake, Calif. Don grew up in Malin and Tulelake. He graduated from Malin High School in 1959. After high school, he joined the Navy and served on the USS Seadragon (SSN-584) submarine. After returning from the Navy in 1963, he later worked for Weyerhaeuser/Collins for 37 years. Don married Mary Ramsay in 1989 in Klamath Falls. They were married for 27 years. He enjoyed history and was involved in American Civil War Reenactment and the Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association, where he volunteered and restored unused tractors. Don was a faithful member of Klamath Christian Center, hosted a Life Group Bible Study and helped prepare materials for children's ministry.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary Rush; brother, Robert (Patricia) Rush; Don's son, Kevin (Michele) Rush; step-children, Lisa (Gary) Stewart and Joe (Cathy) Ramsay; grandchildren, Greg Rush, Shawn Rush, Kyndra (Coleman) Gillory, Korey (Kandice) Stewart, Laci (Daniel) Alvarado, Lucas Ramsay, Garrett Stewart, and Lance Stonestreet; great-grandchildren; and his niece and nephew.
