CLARENCE, Mo. — Miss Alma E. Hopper, 84, of Clarence, died at 3:05 p.m. Thursday (May 19, 1983) in Samaritan Hospital, Macon, following a week's illness.
She was born May 7, 1899, near Alma, Neb., a daughter of Solomon and Harriet Copenhaver Hopper. She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Clarence United Methodist Church, Clarence Order of Easter Star and National Association of Retired Teachers.
Surviving is a halfbrother, Henry Farlee of Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two halfsisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home, Clarence, the Rev. Paul Temple conducting. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Clarence.
