Bruce Judson Snyder, age 86, of Loudon, TN, formerly of Alpharetta, GA, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Bruce was a graduate of the University of Miami. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy Aviation Patrol Squadron #23. Bruce was a retired aerospace engineer working with Boeing Aircraft and also worked on the Minuteman Program at Cape Kennedy. He was a member of Alpharetta Presbyterian Church and more recently attended Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. Bruce was an avid ham radio operator.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Ellen Snyder; daughters and sons-in-law, Dara and Ken Cummins of Loudon, Tennessee; Meena and John Sheley of Avon, Indiana; grandchildren, Cameron, Casey, Calen and Kai; brother and sister-in-law, Albert (Bud) and Lil Snyder; sister, Gay Richards; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Micah Nicolaus officiating. Family and friends will gather at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, Knoxville at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday for graveside services with military honors.
