OBITUARY: RAY GREEN
Mr. Ray Green passed away at age 79 in his Richland home, surrounded by family, on December 20th, 2016.

Ray was born in Baskin, Louisiana October 5th, 1937 to Jessie Lee Rhone Green and Lawrence Green Sr.

He was a resident of the Tri-City area for 53 years. Ray had a long work career and spent the majority of his work-life as a journeyman painter for Battelle for 27 years.

A man devoted to God and family Ray served Greater Faith Baptist Church for 50 years as an usher and sang in a gospel quartet.

Ray cherished the little things in life and loved to fish, barbecue, and spend time with his family.

Ray is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Green, his 2 siblings; Marteal Finney (Seymore), and Charles Green (Kelly), 2 sister-in-laws; Beulah Green and Anita Love-Green, his 5 children, Shandra Voss, Roderick Green, Tamara Chamberlain (Ross), Tiffany Loving (Pasente), and Brittany Green (Katelyn), his grandchildren; LaTrena, Kristin Utley (O'Shea), Amera Muse, Marquise Green, Adryan Loving, Tia Chamberlain, Daishaundra Loving, Danielle Loving, and Aaron Loving, 9 great-grandchildren, his God-children, Kimberly Ann Jimerson, LaTonya Haunretier, and Leigh Doris Brooks, 2 dearly devoted friends; Ed Lopez and Fred Wallace, as well as a plethora of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his 4 siblings; Robert Lee Green, Lottie Wilson, Lawrence Green Jr., and Leon Green.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Einan's at Sunset, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at World Life Christian Center in Pasco on December 30 at 11:00 AM.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM at Einan's at Sunset Cemetery in Richland. A reception will be held at Greater Faith Baptist Church following the graveside service.
