Services for Marjorie Oliver Dike, 81, of Tyler, will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Audra Nations officiating.
Burial will follow at Edom Cemetery in Edom under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Ms. Dike passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, in Tyler.
She was born September 18, 1935 in Diana to Hugh and Edna Oliver.
Marjorie was a member of Lanes Chapel Methodist Church. She graduated from New Diana High School. Marjorie held the position of Clerical Supervisor with Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles before her retirement.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Hugh and Edna Oliver, Hughlene Henry and Arthur Wayne Oliver.
Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
Her life revolved around her children and her pets. She loved dogs and cats and tried to feed and help any stray animal she saw in her neighborhood.
