David Kenneth East, age 70, passed away on December 22, 2016 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. David was born on November 24, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents Kenneth East and Bobbie R. Foley.
During David’s general education, he began a hobby with photography which flourished into his profession. He worked with Seismograph Service Corporation for 15 years before teaching at Tulsa Community College. David was a loving father, grandfather who cherished his family and truly was a kid at heart. David also enjoyed making home movies involving all kinds of funny situations.
David is survived by his three daughters and spouses, his son and spouse, his sister, his two brothers, his nine grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
David was preceded in passing by his parents and his brother Rick East.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Mobley-Groesbeck from 8 am to 8 pm with family to greet from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma at 1 pm.
