He was born January 6, 1939 in Standardville, Utah to Elbert Blackburn and Nina Anderson Blackburn. He married Phyllis Ekker Blackburn on June 6, 1964 in Ely, Nevada.
Funeral services are Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Chapel in Emery, Utah, 70 N Center St. Prior to services family will receive family and friends from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Interment at Emery Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contribution to National Parkinson Foundation.
