Donna Eileen Smith, 68, of Huber Heights, Ohio, went to heaven on Dec. 22, 2016 after a long illness. Donna was the eldest child of the late Roscoe Smith (1924-2014) and Deloras (Sowers) Smith (1926-1990). Born in Dayton, Ohio, Donna graduated from Northridge High School before working for NDM Corp. for 26 years. Donna was an incredibly generous and kind person who was always helping others and bringing a smile to the face of everyone around her.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard French; her son, Kevin R. Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Denise Smith, and Bruce and Danita Smith; nieces and nephews: Saundra Baughman, Zachariah Smith, Bonnie Smith, and Alexander Smith; great-nephews: Lukas and Lane Baughman; and many, many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with interment following at Willow View Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
