Our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, age 77 years. She was born on May 1, 1939, daughter of the late Willard and Estella (Karcher) Hatch, in Saginaw.

Marlene married Arthur T. Goodside on July 26, 1958, he predeceased her on September 26, 1983. She retired from St. Luke’s Hospital/Covenant Healthcare-Cooper after many years of service.

Marlene had been a member of Faith Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino.

She is survived by her children, Jody (Eugene) Bryce, Arthur (Terena) Goodside of FL, Roxanne Goodside and Kirk Goodside of TX; her grandchildren, Rachel and Eugene Bryce, Arthur and Brittney Goodside, Jessica Brown, Eric Edwards, Faris and Ramzy Goodside; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Harry (Karen) Hatch and her sister, Marylin Dillon. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Bryce and loving dog, Sassy.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
